DMX Tile Membrane

Containing movement within the tile assembly is critical, and subfloor deflection can lead to cracked tiles and grout over time. DMX Tile Membrane is an uncoupling membrane designed to isolate movement from the substrate while providing a stable surface for tile installation. Its circular dimple design allows for efficient mortar distribution with a single trowel pass, reducing thin-set usage while maintaining a secure mechanical bond. The translucent white membrane helps installers visually confirm mortar coverage during installation, improving consistency and reducing guesswork. Rated for extra heavy commercial applications and meeting relevant ANSI standards, it delivers reliable performance across a wide range of projects. Each 54 sq ft roll includes one DMX Joining Band (a $30 value), while the 323 sq ft roll includes six rolls (a $180 value). It integrates with a wide range of substrates and helps ensure a more durable, crack-resistant tile assembly.
Key Benefits:

Meets relevant ANSI performance standards.
Includes DMX Joining Band for simplified seam treatment (quantity varies by roll size).
Lightweight, flexible design allows for quick and easy installation.
Designed to integrate with a wide range of substrates and tile applications.
Installation Overview
1. Apply thin-set to substrate and wall intersections.
2. Embed DMX Inside/Outside Corners firmly into place.
3. Press corners to ensure full adhesion and remove air pockets.
4. Apply thin-set over edges of corners.
