Sealing seams and transitions is critical to maintaining a continuous waterproof barrier, as these areas are the most common points of failure in a shower assembly. DMX Seam Band is a flexible, sheet-applied strip designed to reinforce joints, corners, and penetrations. It embeds easily into thin-set mortar to create a reliable, watertight seal and integrates with DMX Waterproof Mat for consistent system performance.

1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and properly prepared.
2. Apply modified thin-set mortar over seams and joints.
3. Install DMX Seam Band centered over the joint.
4. Maintain minimum 2″ overlap at all intersections.
5. Embed band firmly using a trowel to remove air pockets.
6. Ensure full bond and smooth finish before proceeding.
