Containing water at the shower entry is critical, and site-built curbs can introduce inconsistencies, weak points, and added labor. DMX Shower Curb is pre-formed to simplify installation while providing a clean, consistent threshold that helps keep water inside the shower area. It eliminates the need for complex on-site framing or shaping.

1. Ensure the shower base and curb area are clean, dry, and free of debris.
2. Measure and dry-fit the DMX Shower Curb to confirm proper fit and support.
3. Verify the curb is level and properly aligned before installation.
4. Mix modified thin-set mortar to proper consistency.
5. Apply and comb mortar onto the substrate and bonding areas.
6. Set the curb into the mortar and press firmly to ensure full contact.
7. Check and adjust level while mortar is still workable.
8. Waterproof joints using thin-set and embed DMX Seam Band with proper overlap.
9. Prepare curb surfaces with mortar for waterproof membrane installation.
